Angelina Osornio Torres is the Founder, Owner, and CEO of Osornio Torres Industries LLC, doing business as Jelly Nonprofit Consulting, a high-quality, client-oriented firm, offering customized, turnkey grant writing services to nonprofit organizations. Jelly is a Texas-based business and was founded in June 2017. Jelly is a modern work environment and all team members work remotely.

Angelina earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from Angelo State University. She then worked in the nonprofit sector for 10 years, the majority of which was at the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Center for the Concho. The time Angelina spent there provided her with an invaluable education in nonprofit management, strategic planning, fund development, grant prospecting and writing, and much more. She is now a proud member of their Board of Directors.

Along with getting Jelly off of the ground, Angelina also worked for B&A Grant Services from January 2018 through December 2019. Unlike the nonprofit focus of Jelly, B&A’s focus was on infrastructure-related grant development for municipalities in California and Texas. 

​

As a new mother, Angelina experienced difficulty managing motherhood while working a rigid 8-5 schedule for 40+ hours a week. The struggle was further compounded because of the mandatory requirement that work had to be performed at the office, which added a long daily commute. All of this left Angelina very little time to focus on her family and self-care. The desire for a meaningful, flexible career that allowed for maintaining a healthy work/life balance, inspired Angelina to start Jelly.

In August 2022, Angelina was invited to join the Angelo State University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) as a part-time Business Advisor, with a particular focus on serving their Spanish-speaking clientele. Angelina has been a long-time client of the SBDC, which coupled with her business ownership experience, lends greatly in serving clients through the provision of business advising.
